History |
Project refers to an individual or collaborative enterprise that is carefully planned and designed to achieve a particular aim.
A.E.V.A. stands for Aesthetic Electronic Visual Art, which is a relatively new venture for us in which high-definition digital artwork is placed on a high-quality vinyl skin with which you can customize your electronic devices. Amanda has been creative all of her life. An artist from a very young age, and at this point capable of doing nearly everything she gets inspired to do - the list of her prowess includes, but is not limited to: traditional artwork - drawing, painting, you name it. Digital - paintings, sketches, drawings, animation. Design & fabrication - from costumes and concept designs to various 3-dimensional construction. She often refers to herself as a jack of all trades, but a master of none. She is constantly improving, be it taking in new techniques or receiving critiques and advice from peers or customers, and constantly honing her craft. Project AEVA is a relatively new adventure for everyone involved, something that came about when Amanda was commissioned for a particular type of artwork to customize an electronic device with some very specific artwork. In the past, before knowledge of vinyl skins was relevant to her, she would have sanded things down, painted them, sealed them and sanded them again, and sealed them a final time with a high-shine clear coat. The complications with that type of application were numerous and simply not possible in a feasible time-span. Approximately six years ago, Amanda dipped into the pool of digital artwork. With the popularity of customizing devices booming and various different ways of doing so, digital artwork has a brand new way of being displayed upon devices of varying types. This new outlet has become a beautiful, long-lasting way to present amazing work to the wonderful people that would like something as unique as they are. |
